Michael Bateson
Joining the Army at a tender age of 16, Michael quickly distinguished himself, becoming the youngest soldier in the NATO liberation of Kosovo in 1999, steering the mighty Challenger 1 battle tank. From military distinction, he transitioned to academia, securing a BA (Hons) & MA in Photography, and later explored construction, with travel adventures dotting his journey. Life seemed mapped out until addiction's sinister grip upended everything. Homelessness and despair led him to the UK's sole rehabilitation centre for veterans in addiction. There, amid the darkest hours, hope rekindled. Today, reunited with his loving wife and two children, Michael's sobriety is anchored in a profound revelation: true freedom lies in authenticity. Embracing this newfound wisdom and immense gratitude, he is committed to giving back, honoring the universe that offered redemption.🙏
